Cigar bonanza in Puerto Plata An excellent experience was had by our group. Most informative and fun staff. Not to be missed if you enjoy great cigars.

Fun & Educational This was my first trip to a cigar factory. The staff were very helpful. Even though it was near closing the staff still took the time to give me a full demonstration of cigar making, and were very helpful in the selection process.

Avid cigar smoker What a great experience, learning how they're made, and watching them roll cigars right in front of you. Very friendly group of empoyees. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

Espigon cigars While vacationing in Cabarete took a day trip to Puerto Plata. Luckily while touring the city we wandered into Espigon Cigars. Owner Dennis was there and gave us a fabulous tour of the facility. We were not rushed and learned so much about the painstaking process of cigar making. From man/woman hours growing and tending the tobacco plants to the rolling of the final product. Dennis walked us through it all answering all our layman’s questions. And yes I did get to roll my own cigar with a little help. Definitely a top highlight of our vacation. Thanks again Dennis, Darrell

Learn about cigars, and enjoy them, too! My sons and I visited Espigon Cigars last year. We were on a Carnival Cruise which stopped at Amber Cove. Rather than book a tour with the ship or any of the local providers, we hired a cab and, having done our own research, asked to go to Espigon. We were not disappointed! Dennis and his staff treated us like royalty, taught us more about cigars than I knew existed, (I've been smoking them for 40 years!) helped us select the sizes and flavors we liked best, and took care of all the paperwork customs required. Any future visits to the Caribbean WILL include a vist to Espigon!

Excited to be back! So happy to be buying a box of 50 of the best cigars I've ever had, my wife and I are expecting our first grandchild, Can't wait to pass these out! My wife bought some honey there, Chocolate Habanero, wish we had bought more of that! Sooooo gooooood! Till next time!

Second time Was there before and was very impressed that the quality of the cigars and the skill of the rollers may even be better. Love the Maduros and it is nice that they have other local products for the non cigar aficionados. We get Cuban cigars in Canada but these are better for less! Will be back.

Highly recommend this cigars! I was in Puerto Plata earlier this month. I came across this company on Trip Advisor while looking for a place to buy cigars. I am really happy that I chose to check out this company! The owner answered my request to visit his factory instantly and sent a car to pick us up. We were warmly welcomed at the factory and the service was professional. My wife was even allowed to make a cigar herself. I usually like to smoke Cuban cigars, but I was offered to try the Espigons Cigars. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, quality and taste. I would highly recommend these cigars! If you love cigars and find yourself in Puerto Plata, you should visit this place!

Cigar factory near the boardwalk. The Espigon Cigar Factory is in a corner near the main plaza in Puerto Plata. They showed us how they roll the cigars. They helped me roll my own, and then they gave it to me to take as a souvenir. They do all this for tips. They have a couple of "tip" jars around the room. They also gave us a shot of Mamajuana. I must say, it was the best Mamajuana I have had in the Dominican Republic. We bought a $5 cigar and left very pleased.
